Anyone from the North East returning 2011?

With all the snow-days this year, the last day of school in Mass. got pushed to June 21st.

So. I'm wondering what the rest of the folks in a similar boat are doing?
Returning before school begins or going after school-ends?

Although my kid is still in the first grade, may not matter that much for her, but trying to figure out which is more important:

Getting a closure here or Being there for the opening?

I know it depends on the kid, their social level, comfort factor etc. But....

If it's first grade, don't worry too much to finishing school here. The last month(june) is all about talking about vacation plans.

I was thinking more interms of getting a closure for the kid - you know, like a complete logical end?
