Hi,

My daughter is 10 years old .She holds U.S passport.
We are settled in India.Her Indian visa got expired (given Entry visa for 5 years).
So what is the procedure to get a new Indian Visa?
Do I have to pay overstay penalty?
How do get a PIO Card?.
Do I have to register in FRRO

This confirms that we do not need to register in FRRO. However, when I applied for PIO my kids (2.5 yrs old) in Chennai, they asked me to register in FRRO since their visa was about to expire in a week and then apply for PIO ( I was allowed to do both the same day). This was a month ago.
