GC for children of GC holder living in India?

I am a GC holder - my wife was a GC holder but hasn't been to US since last 4 years. My one son is US citizen and 2nd is Indian citizen (ages 10 and 7). We live in India since past 6 years. I travel 3/4 times a year to the US for few weeks - for work. The big questions: should I give up my GC or should I work on getting USC over the next few years, then, will I move back to US after few years etc. all exist and remain unanswered at this point in time.

Anyway, my question is regarding my 2nd son's ability to go to US for study. I don't want to jeopardize that. So, is there anything I can plan today to ensure that he can go to US for studies when 18? Can I get him a GC before that?

Of course, I can stay in US for sometime -- get USC and then apply for his GC, or, I can give up my GC and have him apply for student visa later. But, are there other options? Can I apply and get GC for him/wife while I have a GC myself? Just looking for some suggestions....

Thanks.
