Hello All

We would be relocating to India soon with US Passport ,Indian Visa and renunciation certificate . We have a deadline date to move due to personal reasons so it will not be feasible to apply in US . Can we apply for OCI in India .

We applied for OCI in India. No issues. Of course, it was ten years back.

I remember seeing posts in this forum where someone did face challenges applying for OCI from India...pls do a search in the forum

You can apply for OCI from India. The timelines may differ a bit here and there.

Make sure you go through the FRRO office and find out depending on the city where you will be applying.
