Everything in a 2 or 3 bedroom apt will fit comfortably.
I had 110 pieces loaded which included 3 3-seater leather sofas, 2 queen mattresses, 1 twin mattresses, patio furniture, dining table and 6 chairs, 2 tvs and all our household items and still had about 20 percent of the container empty.
Hope you got an idea now.

Can anyone share , Whats one size lower container that 20ft. We are taking only living,Dining, kids bedroom furniture and boxes. When the movers give the quote does it include their packing time. If possible is it a good idea to have stuff like clothes, books put in boxes before movers come.

Containers come in 3 sizes.
1) 20' std
2) 40' std
3) 40' High Cube (extra one foot height)
A 20' std can take in the contents of a 2 br apt/townhouse (2 beds, 1 sofa set, 1 dining set and all the boxes of clothes, utensils etc)
A 40' std can take in the contents of a 3-4 br apt/townhouse (3 beds, 1-2 sofa sets, 1 dining set and all the boxes of clothes, utensils etc)
A 40'hc can take in the contents of a 4 br SFH (3-4 beds, 2 sofa sets, 2 dining sets, and all the boxes of clothes, utensils, contents of the garage, basement etc)
If you do not have enough to ship a 20' of your own, you have to share space in one of our containers and pay for only actual space that your goods occupy.

Could anyone share what companies they chose for moving stuff for Less than 20ft and approx cost for it. I checked with a company and felt the quote they gave for 4000$ was too much. Im looking at 500 cu feet.
