Have question on the schools (7th grade and 5th grade) please share your thoughts / experiences
1) Which kind of curriculum is better in terms of NRI kids academic? [INDENT]ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education)

2) Which schools would be a suitable / better
a) BG Academy (Location: Wakad, CBSE )
b) Wisdom World School (Location : Park Street, ICSE )
c) Blue Ridge ( Location: Hinjewadi, ICSE),
d) Blossom (Location : Wakad),
e) Vidya Valley (Location: Sus)
f) Indira National School (Location : Aundh, Chinchwad)
g) DAV (Aundh) - Heard that this is one of the most popular schools and that there are huge queues.
h) City International ( Location : Aundh)
i) Gurukul (Location : Bhosale Nagar)

IGCSE/IB will be easier to adjust to for NRI kids. CBSE and ICSE are harder, but if your plan is to have your kids take undergrad education in India, then these will turn out to be better. State board is also catching up, and has an edge if the kids will be studying in Maharashtra, but does not work well in case you relocate to another state.

Regarding which school will be suitable: really hard to answer without knowing the kids. Wisdom World and DAV are more academic, while Vidya Valley and Gurukul focus more on overall development.

Check out Orchid school in Baner. Its CBSE. My kids are in Orchid school and we are happy with the school.

Which of the schools allow take new students? Can we get new admission for grade 6th in any of these schools?

For grade6, you may want to try Vibgyor or PICT Model School. These would likely have vacancies and the admission process can be carried out from US.
