Temp Stay in Gurgaon - Suggestions

Post by r212007 »

Hi,

We are relocating to Gurgaon on March 18 with my parent company in the US. Currently we are looking at service apartments for 30-45 days till our shipped goods arrive. We were given the following furnished apartements as choices:

1. Sky Court (175K/month plus utilities)
2. Beverly Park - I (150K/month plus utilities)
3. Ambience Island (100K/month plus utilities)
4. Regency Park-II (75K/month plus utilities)
5. N-3/34 DLF Phase-II (50K/month plus utilities)

As you can see the prices are all over the spectrum and we are not sure what to expect. Our criteria for these places is A/C plus high speed internet access.

Can you guys help us with some feedback on the above choices or if you have any other places, please recommend.

Thanks in advance

I am kind of in the same boat and have given up trying to find a furnished apartment in Gurgaon and am staying in a ( expensive ) hotel... I am new but I can tell you that Beverly park is an oldish apartment and 150K seems a little over the top to me .I have no clue about the others.

Also, just a word of caution - 30-45 days for your shipped goods to arrive might be a little optimistic based on my experience but I dont know your details ....

just curious which company are you coming to ?

Paddy,

Thanks for your reply. Even our relocation company said something similar regarding lack of decent service (furnished) apartments and suggested a hotel instead. We are open to both at this stage.

Our moving company confirmed mid April for our goods to arrive in Delhi plus the time for customs clearance etc. But at this stage we are adding few weeks to every timeline:emwink:. I work for a Global insurance company called Genworth Financial and will be working on supplier management.

Also, I have seen your post regarding Scottish high, we are also leaning towrads that school for our 3rd and 1st graders. What is the process to get admissions ? Is there a entrance test

Thanks for your time.

Radha, Paddy,

I am returning to India end of this month and have been looking for serviced apartment in Gurgaon for some time but without any success. I have seen your post from few weeks ago. Wondering if you were successful in your attempts and could provide me further suggestions or tip?

Thanks, Alok
