Hi All,
First of all hats off to everybody in this forum, its so active and helpful.
I am returning to India - NCR sometime around mid November, and I am really looking for some help and information. Though my preference is to initially live in Gurgaon but I am open to Noida or any other option in NCR.
I have two kids and elder one will be 5.5 years old, she is going to Year 1 here in UK and I believe she will go to year 1 in India as well from April 2012, My budget is to spend Rs 25,000/- for rent per month (3BHK flat in descent society with power backup and club facility) and Rs 5000-10000 per month for schooling of my elder child. Can I get some good suggestions as what areas in Gurgaon will suit my budget and requirements, it will be good if school is close to society so that we can pick and drop my daughter ourselves as she generally vomits when travels in bus.
Another important requirement is to have high speed internet in that area as I will be working from home and will need to be on video conference. I will really appreciate any kind of information on this topic; I am also worried if schools will admit my daughter for April 2012 session if we meet them in last week of November, 2011 as registrations might be over by that time.
One of my uncle who lives in Palam Vihar, Gurgaon has suggested me to rent an apartment in Park View Residency in Palam Vihar and get daughter?s admission in GEMS International school in Palam Vihar and I am seriously considering that but I do not have any idea about this society and school other then my uncle?s recommendation.
