Hi All,

I am returning to Mumbai (Malad) in mid september, 2010.

I have never been to mumbai.

I am looking for

1) reasonable 2BHK to rent (please provide idea of rent as well)
2) a decent school (Not fussed about international schools, but medium need to be english) for kids of age 8 and 5
3) Fees of schools in theose areas
4) Prefer house close to school

within a commutable distance from mindspace,Malad west (office location).

Any help is appreciated.

You should look for 2 BHK flat in the area around Inrobit Mall. There are quite a few decent Residential Partment complexes in that area. It will be within 15 mins of driving distance from Mindspace. I think the rent will be in the range of Rs. 20K - 30K in a nice locality.

I must caution you that you will have a challenge in getting adimission in a shool in the middle of the academic year. So, you may not have all the choices available to you. Here are some of the Schools I would reccomend.

Vibgyor High, Billabong High, Pinnacle High, Ryan International, St. Annes, etc. There are few more good schools that other forum members might be aware of. I think the fees can be anywhere in the range of Rs. 30K to 80K per year.
