from chennai to Trichy (visiting chennai summer)

Are there any serviced-apartments( house)? are they better than hotels ?
I am not sure abt serviced apts in TRY. I know what they are: Its like a fully furnished house, rented out by landlords mainly their audience is corporations..
If it was me, I would'nt choose a serviced apt in a tier 2/3 without knowing- there are a few drawbacks- the condition might not be that gr8, if it were a star hotel, you push the buzzer and you get it fixed, its not the same way with serviced apts. Unless I was having an extended stay(might be a lot less cheaper than hotels, also you get the homey feel, you can cook your own food), I would'nt prefer a serviced apt. But this is only my POV.
