I have enquired with so many people and everybody seems to be using the same old style, with velcro fitted to the frame or extra window frame opening from inside and net fitted to it and warned me against anything mechanical like rollers, sliding or retractable ones. There is a good breeze in my apartment and I want to keep it open during the day time.

Can you please give me the address of the people who did yours ?

Sorry I was mentioning about the net you use on the bed but not the windows. Here is the link. http://www.cosyindia.com/viewnet.htm

I don't know of the window nets.

While it's no relation to the common barfly, the Asian Tiger mosquito is the true unpleasant species of metropolitan mosquito plaguing large cities. As reported by the Wall Street Journal, the black-and-white striped predator is “vicious” and “hard to kill”. Unlike most mosquitoes, the Asian Tiger attacks during the daytime. Unlike most mosquitoes, the Asian Tiger bites during the daytime. Like most mosquitoes, it can spread potentially fatal diseases like dengue fever.

I had fitted my appt in chennai with aluminuim net frames to the windows, exhaust fan outlet etc and so we literally have no issues with mosquitoes, lizards. This frames net is easy to maintain and clean compared to the Velco ones.I ca use the vaccum to clean the dust of .I dont see any change in air circulation after putting this.
We do have some creep in when my kids keep the doors open and go out for playing :-(

hitraj,

would you mind sharing the details of the contractor/company you used for the same? I am looking to install mosquito nets in the balconies of my home in chennai, with the main requirement being that it should not impede the air circulation. Would appreciate any info on this.

Thanks,
