My son and daughter go to Gateway Complete school at Sholinganallur ( not the Intl one in Neelangarai). kids love the school
and fees are in middle of PSBB and Vels Billabong from 30k to 1L.. Gateway is about 70k.
As far as GW Intl, I am not impressed with infrastructure part of it as it was old school acquired by this mgmt.
I would suggest if you are in town, take a trip to all 3 campus from neelangarai, sholingnallur, padur.

Thanks

I heard that the Gateway shool fees is more than 1 lakh per year, infact more than Vels Billabong's Rs ~75K. Do the fees vary from student to student (higher classes would cost more ofcourse, I was wondering about the diff within the same class) ?? I also heard that the Padur classes (6th grade & above) are moving to Shollinganalur this year - to be with the lower grades. How large is the Shollinganalur campus - atleast 2 or 3 acres hopefully ?

Vels campus seems to be impressive, but it doesn't seem to follow the intl syllabus - ie. UK's ICGSE or USA / but it is ICSE. I heard that Vels has many sections for each grade, as in established / big schools - a positive point in my books. Neelankarai site (American syllabus) has just started, so very few students (in some cases just 1 or 2 students in a class).

I am trying to pick between Vels & Gateway by OMR. Any pointers on which one of these would work for older kids, would be greatly appreciated. The padur campus may get turned towards non intl syllabus, is what I heard (maybe ICSE). I thought that the Shollinganalur campus is the Intl one (affliated to Cambridge univ). I am most interested in the quality of the teachers and 2nd, the facilities such as science labs / so any inputs from parents who have directly interacted with those teachers, would be of great help.
