Domestic Help Rates

Post by wolf21281 »

Hi

I recently R2Id to Bangalore and living in a 3BHK (rented) in Purva Riviera Marathahalli. I was exploring the option of having a domestic servant to do just the cleaning of the apartment. I currently live by myself and see no need for a maid to do the dishes/laundry.

What's an acceptable wage to pay someone to do that task? Does tht need to be a mthly rent on a daily show basis?

Please let me know..thanks

Hi there neighbor and fellow R2Ier! 2 month ago, we had one who was doing dusting and mopping, along with the cleaning of one of the 3 bathrooms daily for 600 per month. The rates since then shouldn't have changed much... Daily show will be too expensive.
