During my trip last year, I came across some new restaurants which were good..like,
Chinese - "Beijing Bites"..I believe this is a chain, I went to the one in Jayanagar 5th/4th block..
North Indian - "Barbeque Nation"..They serve nice barbequed veggies/non-veg and have a pretty good spread as part of a Buffet...
Also came across this place called "Chaat street" in Gandhi Bazaar..If you are okay about eating food from small stalls (with no seating), you can try this street. You get north indian, south indian (including yummy obbattus), chaat, and some new corn stuff..Of course Masala dosas too..:)
For traditional south Indian food, MTR is a great place..
There is this "Yatri Niwas " branch on Blr-Mysore road, about 30 kms from South Blr..It is more like a resort..Wonderful food and nice ambience..You get south indian food on leaf (also the popular joolada rotti oota)..plus yummy sweets and fresh juices..

There is this small restaurant called 'Casanova' in JP nagar 1st phase. They have a wide ranging menu with Chinese/American/Italian fares..I have been there a few times and I liked the Chinese food there.
It is at the entrance of JP nagar ( I think it is 24th Main) when you go from Jayanagar side after passing Apple istores, taaza mithai stores etc.

Yes, I am a big fan of Andhra style food. Again which Nandini restaurant? Nandini is quite common in KA:)
