Hi everyone,

My kid is 3 1/2 yrs old and we live in the US. We will return back to Bangalore,india in 6 months. I want to know what the kids their age learn at school (writing capabilities especially) in India. Right now my kid goes to daycare cum preschool & they do not stress too much on writing.

Any help is appreciated.

Our son is of same age and goes to International school. They haven't started writing in school. When we asked they said they will start this year. If you are planning for Internation school, I would say it will be pretty much same as in US.

My Nephew's Son goes to Inventure Academy in whitefield-sirajpur road..it offers eduaction from pre-school to grade 12. He is also of the same age group and they will start teaching writing skills from this year .
In the mean time you can start training him in basic writing lessons.Also do check this website www.metromela.com to know more on kids schools and kid extracurricular activities. I have been using this site and getting good local information.
