I am exploring an option to move to Bangalore. The only thing fixed right now is that my work place is located on Residency road. I saw a lot of discussions on school and living around whitefiled and ORR/Sarjapur road. I don't want to have a long commute. But at the same-time don't want a long commute for Kids either (3rd grade and UKG).

What are my options for schools and living If need to be living with in 30 mins of commute to residency road.? Does Koramangla and Indira Nagar fit the bill ? (I have very little knowledge of BNGLR and this hunch is based on maps). If they do, what will be my options for schools?

One more question, If I really have to get Kids admitted to schools located around ORR/Sarjapur (based on family preference after we vist the schools), how much commute will it be from Koramangala or Indira Nagar?

I would appreciate any responses. TIA.

Residency Road is the happening place. No need to go to Sarjapur Road or Whitefield Road. You have a lot of options to stay in and around Residency, including the places you mentioned, Koramangla and Indira Nagar.

I am not sure as to what your school preferences are: In Residency Road, right close by, you have the famous (old) Bishop Cottons. I am sure there are other convent schools around.
