Hi All,

I am trying to find this machine which removes the pesticides from the fruits and vegetables (and from meats etc too), my parents have it at their place but I am not able to find it in Bangalore. I looked up few electronic shops but it seems like no one have heard about it.

I liked it a lot and my parents have been using it for around a year and very happy with it. I am not sure of the name of this machine but if any one of you have seen it around please let me know.

Thanks

Wow... does such a gadget exist? If yes, I'd like to own one, too. I remember back in the US we used to see washing soaps to remove off pesticides at Trader Joe's.

I suspect that the machine you are referring to is an ozonating machine. Here is one available in India.

There are a number of ozone generators - water and food purifiers available. I haven't used any of them, so I can't comment one way or the other on any of them.

Hi rajsriadit,

It does look like this http://foodguard.in/product.htm, but I need to confirm it its the same. My father tried to find out it they have any distributor in Bangalore but haven't heard back from them yet.

BTW, does any one have any clue how good these ozone generators are, my google search did bring up some articles which say that ozone does reduce the pesiticide levels to very low levels.
