Hi, Has anyone relocated within the city of Hyderabad. I have some pretty delicate furniture to be moved from a 5th floor apartment to a villa and would like to know of any movers and packers in the city that also provide insurance.
Could anyone give me a lead if they have come across a good company?
Thanks in advance.

Catch the guy who got it to the 5th floor in the first place.
Or was it built on the 5th floor originally.

We used a company called Amigo Packers and Movers last year and they crew was pretty good. They will 'pack' your delicate pieces for you if you want them to. These guys made two trips from Sec'bad to Jbl Hills in one day and they did the move without any slipups - it could have been the several tobacco packets they consumed during the day that kept their energy levels up!
I'd use them again when we move in a few months (hopefully) again.

Thanks for the reply MeMyself. it is really helpful.
Dbs, thanks for your smart reply but when one sets up a house, one tends to get stuff one at a time and they are delivered by different vendors from whom you buy.

So catch hold of the guy that delivered the last piece or if possible the biggest piece. If he can take care of one piece then he should be able to take care of all pieces, maybe one at a time. But safe.

dbs - The people that deliver furniture or other big-ticket items from stores are set up to handle that kind of goods. They do not have the people and material to handle the different kinds of things you'd have in a household - packing up your crockery, stitching a protective cover around your sofa, a big-bed truck and a crew etc.
