Does anyone know if Poker(Texas Hold'em) is popular in Hyderabad? From what I heard, people still prefer the games like Rummy and 3 cards and are not yet in to poker. I am a big poker fan and when I return I would like to form a poker club and spread the interest. I believe its a pretty harmless passtime unless the other type of games mentioned above.

On a different note, I would like to know if anybody is interested in forming a poker group in Northern Virginia(Fairfax, Herndon, Ashburn areas). If we can form a group of 10 to 15 people we can have a good time every other week or so.

I love to play poker, got into it recently.
I am planning to move to India coming April / May 2007.
