Hi

I am a USC WITH OCI. RETURNED TO INDIA ,AND have been in India for past 12 months. I am not employed either in India or in US. So earned income is Zeo. However I get rental Income in India for my Flat around Rs 2 Laks and also I pay Mortgage of Rs 70,000.

My Question is do I have to File US Tax returns, and should I indicate this rental Income and what is the last day for filing the US Taxes.

Can I file online with the address in India, but all my US banks have my relatives address in USA, SHOULD I indicate my relative's address in USA or my address in India.

If you know any auditors in India who do services of filing US Taxes, please provide their contact number, e-mail ID and web site.

I may plan to go to USA in AUG 2011.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP AND RESSPOND TO MY E-0MAIL

Hi Nisha,

Since you are US Citizen you have the obligation to file the US tax return even if you do not have any income. Our firm provide services in both USA and India tax filings and do e-filing too. Our office is in Salt lake city, UT, in USA and in Pune in India.
