Q. for the UK folks

What's the eligibility requirements for UK state pension ?
Can we claim it after we return 2 india ?
Can my wife also claim it if she has never worked in UK.

There are rules for UK pension.
It can be paid in India. Lot of brits retire in Oz and get their pension there.

There is a rule though. If you live abroad, then you do not get the inflation increases.

I read somewhere that you have to contribute to NI for a number of years before you can claim. Does that mean if someone has not done a job he will not get any. How come the scrousers who claim benefit all their life get pension.
