Just a tip: whenever you go to evaluate an "international" school in Bangalore in person, ask to see the restrooms. How they are maintained will tell you a lot about the school than any review you find on the web. Best wishes for your move.

We too are planning to move back to Bangalore in 2018 MAY from San Diego, in the same boat PlanAB.....

We too are looking for 2nd grade and 7th grade school admissions. Other than Greenwood, we are also considering Harvest International and Global Indian Internationals school.

Aadarsh Palm Retreat, Shobha Rose etc could be possible options for Apts for these schools.

Thanks ipepraveen for ur joining hand info. Did u get to see schools in person when you visited last time. Since our decision was not long time planned one, We are still nailing down for schools. As working area is not a criteria, we are looking for school to Apts travel time not more than 20 mts. Did you started application process for schools? Since we are initially planning to try there for few years, we don't know whether LCL shipping is worth or just buy everything there from scratch.
Anybody already out there please input your valuable thoughts.

If your work area is not around Marthahalli, Sarjapur Road or Whitefield area then stay away from that place. The pollution levels are so high and have huge water crisis.

Look in South Bangalore where you get cauvery water and good schools around.
You can enroll your kids in top competitive schools like Samhita academy (by Infosys founder), NPS, Kumarans, DPS, Padma seshadri BB , Ryan International,The valley school ( J Krishnamurthy foundation). These schools run school buses and pick up at gates of large housing communities.

Could you let me know which class you took admission. We are looking for admission to 2nd and 7th grade, last Nov when I checked , I was told they dont have seats in those classes.

It would be helpful, if you could provide some information on the admission process and whom you contacted.
