This has been going on since decades. Pastors are playing with the lifes of innocent children for monetory gains. In the mask of Pastors, there might be several other things these pastors are involved in. Hope there will be more inquiries so that the truth can come out.

Are these pastors being arrested, handcuffed and charged? If this is what is happening then police should be arresting them.

Such incidents really make us wonder as to what kind of world we are living in. Depressing to read this time and again. And they are really facts :-(
Oh by the way, did any "newspaper" publish this report too? I see you pasted a link from "Times of India". But did any "Newspaper" print the news?

Havent seen this news in any other online news portal, I am not sure about newspaper since I am not in India. Unfortunate to see these kind of incidents happening. India has become a soft target for many illegal activities including religious conversions and terrorism. Specially these kind of incidents are not highlighted in many of the major print or electronic media, I somehow feel these news are put undercover because of international pressure (specially from Christian church or people who either are receiving or giving funds or even brokers who are intermediary). I still remember an incident which happened a couple of years back, I am from Andhra Pradesh, I was watching news about a government ladies hostel warden takes all the girls in a bus somewhere in the evening and brings them back late in the night, one person who was brother of a girl in that hostel was saying that those girls were all taken to some place for conversion (Christian), it was broadcasted only once and only in one electronic media and after that I never say that news.

Its an ugly game that these unscrupulous people are playing with innocent people. What is more bothering is none of the so called nationalist parties or organizations take is as a serious concern and fight against it.
God save my country.

I have nothing against christianity. I equally value all religions. I equally value people following all religions (and no religion).

But what angers me is the fact that Christians take undue advantage of poverty.

Come, we will give you money. We will give your kids free education, we will give you medical care. We will improve your quality of life. There is only one condition. You have to believe in Jesus Christ. You have to change your religion. You have to give up your old religion and become a christian.

Well, if you are helping someone, then help him/her unconditionally. Helping someone with a condition that the person would change his/her ideology is taking an undue advantage of. Such practices are a shame on humanity...

Sorry for being a bit rude here !!

So am I, I dont have anything against any religion. I respect all religions and for me all religions are equal. Every human being has freedom to follow any religion that he likes.

This was the very reason I started this thread. As you mentioned, if they want to help the poor and the needy, they should do it unconditionally, rather, they take undue advantage of the poor and innocent people and convert them.

Look at the abnormal increase in Christian population and the number of churches that have come up in the recent past. The statistics are staggering.

I am confident about Hinduism because neither the Muslim rulers nor the Christian rulers could kill this great religion... it has survived the toughest of the situations, it will, forever.

Latest news, Julia Roberts embraces Hinduism :-).

Survived in what form?

Who is a Hindu? (1) A person born to Hindu parents? Or (2) A person following Hinduism?

Considering criteria (1), then yes, it has survived and will survive for long.. But considering criteria (2), I doubt really!!

Child trafficking is the worst crime! Hope justice is served.

What has this got to do with Hinduism? What is the confidence that you are referring to, viz-a-viz the poor tribals of the NE?

Hinduism is definitely surviving else how do you think a country of 1 billion people is able to exist peacefully. Its the tolerance and peaceful nature of Hindus that has made this country a livable place for people of other religions.
