What do you expect from Modi?

Post by Jaggudada »

mn_op;567204 Even on this forum, the crazy dances one saw about onion prices in Delhi are totally missing when electricity disappeared from Delhi. For last 3 days.

Sick people.

I think you are calling people on this forum sick. I will tell you who are sick.

Sick are those...

1. Who flip flop, go wherever wind takes them.
2. Who get easily floored with muffler and chapels.
3. Who will praise Kejriwal and push him to cliff and Vote Modi to profit from him.

It seems you are still riling over onion prices. People have shown the door to those who said you can have a meal in 12 rupees and 5 rupees.

If this is India's Minister of HRD, then India needs more of them.

It is irresponsible politics to trash this person for her educational qualifications or some mis-statement in her EC affidavit.

Jaggudada;5672101. Who flip flop, go wherever wind takes them.

And where does the wind go now??? Towards BJP or away from it???
I know that for most Hindutvavadi guys (khaki chaddi chap) India is far less important than crazy Hindutvavad. They would never side with India against Hindutvavad.

Jaggudada;5672102. Who get easily confused with muffler and chapels.

Don't know who you are talking about. But I am sure there are people who lack ability of critical thinking and might get misled by bravado. Bhakti makes people do strange things.

Jaggudada;5672103. Who will praise Kejriwal and push him to cliff and Vote Modi to profit from him.

You are accusing of Modi/RSS of buying votes by paying money. Such baseless accusation are not right. I may not be bhakta of BJP but in such instance of I have to clarify that I have not received any money from chaddi chaps.

You may be right that RSS guys have been profiting from Modi. Afterall, they sold themselves to ensure the lavish wedding. One cannot gift a BMW without money...unless some khaki chaddis are getting dropped. So if you think that somebody is making money out of Modi...trust me, its not me. It could be RSS.

VS007;585831SBI Defends $1 Billion Adani Loan Proposal

Read story: http://profit.ndtv.com/news/corporates/article-sbi-defends-1-billion-adani-loan-proposal-700441

The central govt in Aug 2014 also gave the final clearance Adani's Gondia coal-based power plant. To be noted however is that the UPA govt had also given clearances earlier...only the final clearance was awaited.

The Australian govt also cleared the Adani coal project by ignoring the advice of an environmental group (don't remember if it was a govt body or an NGO). Was it also to please Modi?

Land, check. Coal project, check. Money for the coal project, check. :) All in super-quick time. It is tempting to tie it to all to Modi...Looks like a stretch, especially because even influencing a foreign govt is (likely) involved, but possible...

And this after Modi declared in the Australian parliament that he wants to secure energy needs by using means ?that does not cause our glaciers to melt?.

The current Australian government is a conservative which does not believe in global warming. Economy trumps CO emissions.

So apart from G20, Adani may also be a factor for Modhi to visit the Oz.

Most of the U.S banks seem to have refused funding. is this due to us govt pressure?

Did Adani group apply for funding to all of them? Very unlikely.

drb2011;5864155 years? It sounds like another promise for upcoming election after his full term (PM has 5 years full term).
My questions are, if he can review his ministers and others every other day, why can't he be reviewed with the same rule? Fair is fair - right?

50% pass? - I prefer to be A- at least because of the responsibility of the position. I think Indians have had enough of testing different politicians and finally end up with mud on their face (which they asked for in the beginning) - it should be get it right or quit....

And as you said, everything should be open records policy. No need for RTI etc. Put everything on the web and/or more accessible for public to access. :))

We elect the representatives to the local bodies, where we see actually see something happening. The PM is not responsible for fixing the leaking municipal tap or the street light. Democracy starts to yield results when people know their rights and duties. But I agree, everyone should be held accountable.

To who does the local bodies report to? Doesn't everything goes to CM and such?
If there is complete autonomous groups under one head, then having a leader would be questionable.
(maybe my understanding of how politics work in India is incorrect)

Again, if the top is not right, then the rest collapses. How Modi thinks raking leaves as a photoshoot opportunity to boost Swacch bharat, he should submit his own report card (with periodic assessment) to public and provide a good example to lead on. I would love to see that day and action from Modi. Ethically and professionally that's the right thing to do when he subjects others for such evaluations.

Being a prof for several years, I had to annually review staff and students under me, at the same time, I get reviewed by head of dept, who gets reviewed by Dean, and Dean gets reviewed by advisory committee and so on.

Bottomline, nobody should be an exception. Everything is accountable, as you said, and needs to be for the welfare of the country.

On a lighter note, here are Councillors from krishnagiri, TN actively engaged in debate to bring good things to people. I am sure people are proud for electing them.

Do you guys know why Assam bandh was there a couple of days back?

Instead of kicking out Bangladeshi infiltrators in a couple of key border areas, Manmohan Singh offered over 650 acres of Assam's land, occupied by illegals, to Bangladesh as a "good will" measure. I am sure he is now teaching Barack Obama what to do in Texas, CA or AZ borders next. What a 'generous' curse this dud is for India :(

If not for Mamata Banerjee's tantrum, he would have signed a Teesta water deal too, without keeping parliament in any kind of debate.

...and?

Modi and BJP eager to implement LBA deal initiated by Manmohan Singh:
http://www.dnaindia.com/india/report-why-narendra-modi-made-a-u-turn-on-land-boundary-agreement-2040135

What a "generous curse this dud is" that Modi is eager to pass! I am sure he is now tweeting Barack Obama what to do in Texas, CA or AZ borders next. :)
