If you want no criticism then do nothing, say nothing and be nothing. This perfectly applies to this man.

BJP's cut motion defeated | Ayes: 162, Nos: 246. Is that the reason you are showing frustration on this thread :)

Even though your question is to JD, let me give you exactly what happened.
On 18th April, not too long ago, CBI told a court that it has proof of Mayawati's illegal wealth
http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics/nation/CBI-tells-court-it-has-proof-on-Mayawatis-illegal-wealth/articleshow/5828367.cmsBy the next Saturday, barely 6 days after that, BSP offered to abstain from the cut motion voting.
http://www.ndtv.com/news/india/did-congress-strike-a-deal-with-mayawati-20841.phpGuess why? Just a day before, the very same CBI told the court that it's considering to drop cases against Maya didi
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Open-to-closing-Maya-case-CBI/articleshow/5850166.cmsWhen the D-day came, Maya obviously sided with UPA. Who wouldn't when "clean chit" tickets are being given at "window #10", Janpath?
http://www.hindustantimes.com/newdelhi/BSP-to-back-UPA-on-cut-motion-Mayawati/536446/H1-Article1-536263.aspxWithout BSP, UPA was in trouble. So the two fighting tooth & nail not very long back, slept with each other yesterday night.. When Congress can make a toothless CBI dance to it's whims & fancies, anything is possible :(
Sick..

That's politics. You (and anyone else) can't do anything besides posting on 'Is Manmohan Singh weakest PM?" thread? He just defeated NDA again in the game of politics, which he is doing it very frequently. While our 'loh Purush'(Iron Man) still trying to figure out his retirement plan.

R2I-2010;283221what is cut motion?
In a nutshell, they pass the budget with a reduction by a rupee in allocations.
The implication is that the budget has been defeated (though passed) and the government is expected to resign as any defeat in a financial bill is treated like a no-confidence.

Sure. Let MMS stand in an election. When you do not have to fight your own battles but will win accolades for victory nevertheless, what is there to lose?

Do you seriously beleive that winning an election is such a big deal for a man like MMS with entire congress machinary behind him? There are several constituencies in India where people will elect a rock if congress party nominates it.
IMO, MMS the CEO of India, is playing his cards very well and doing his best. He may not be a leader of masses like somebody from Gandhi clan, but he is perfect fit for his job.
To me, MMS is a very trustworthy guy who wouldn't do anything wrong for personal gains. He is human and may have developed an affinity for his post of PM but I am pretty sure that he is not accumulating money/power for his kids and grandkids...unlike that abominable Gowda guy (ex-PM).
BJP is finding new depths each passing day. I am a BJP voter but I find it seriously irritating when their leaders talk about Bofors and money in Swiss banks. I mean, these leaders have no courage of making their own backyard (i.e. their constituencies) corruption free and have no record of exposing corruption that engulfs Indian society...but that doesn't stop them from babbling about bringing money back from Swiss banks.
If I were a BJP leader, I would have worked towards fixing small societal issues....issues that are important to people..and not issues that escape common man like 'Money in Swiss Bank'.
MMS takes directions from his party bosses as India is ruled by Congress party that has nominated Mr Singh for the top job. WHile its true that most of would rather see a PM who is also a party boss, I am quite content with MMS. To me, honesty of the leader ranks much higher than his mass appeal.
