60 yrs feud finally put to rest today.

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics/nation/Ayodhya-verdict-Disputed-land-to-be-divided-into-3-parts/articleshow/6659767.cms

Seems fair unless there is new case claiming if the other party got .01% more than the other in actual land demarcation.
60 years for a result for something Babur built, with worst 1992 riots in Mumbai. Humanity at the lowest with all these religious drama.

It will go to supreme court and drama will continue for another 10-15yrs. We should be smart enough to not even let it become an issue after 18yrs. It just a piece of land.

A very very memorable day in my life! Brought back to me the tension, anxiety & the hope from 1989 through 1992 period all over again.

It was a remarkable day, particularly on virtual world. Ayodhya was the world's 2nd most trending topic around 3.30 PM IST. Surprised that on this forum, there's not much discussion!

By 4.30, the chaotic TV broadcasts brought bits & pieces of Allahabad High Court's judgment.

Judges involved:
• Hon'ble Sibghat Ullah Khan ,J.: His judgment --> http://rjbm.nic.in/suk.pdf
  • Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal, J. : His judgment --> http://rjbm.nic.in/sa.pdf
  • Hon'ble Dharam Veer Sharma, J. : His brief summary --> http://rjbm.nic.in/dv1.pdf and most importantly being the senior-most judge, his briefing --> http://rjbm.nic.in/dv2.pdf (Read the first line of answer:)))
Complete Judgment involving 21 volumes & 281 page annexure: http://rjbm.nic.in/

    Lots of sweets at my home, hugging family, pooja/aarti, visit to temple with sweet boxes, dinner meeting with a childhood friend's family, recollecting all those tension period from 2 decades back, talking about the person most responsible for procuring this amazing historic tilt towards Hindu point of view (birth place of Lord Rama) - Mr. L.K. Advani.. Oh boy.. I am exhausted!

    Only if they did not give even that 1/3rd to a board representing a foreign invader/plunder built structure. I hope sense prevails for those representing the Samarkhand's invader's structure, & they hand over that also to RamJanma Bhumi Nyas, in return for a land on the other side of Sarayu river. After all even the judges show that the structure was unIslamic! Why waste time going to Supreme Court still dragging this illegal foreign invader encroachment case? In the national harmony interest, the holiest of the holy Shri Rama birth place must be vacated of even this 1/3rd remaining encroachment. I hope that also happens within a couple of years.

    Also, very happy at the way India has received the verdict maturely. Shops opened, traffic building up & life restarts everywhere. Again, LK Advani & Ravi Shankar Prasad (lawyer actively involved) have made a court accept for the FIRST time ever in 5 centuries, that Shri Rama was indeed born right at the spot where Ram Lala idols are present, and also a huge temple like structure is beneath. Incredible & thanks to those gentlemen along with all those who struggled for centuries to get the holiest of the holy place back for Shri Ram worship :)) Supreme Court won't be able to change much in my opinion, as whatever pages I read so far from HC judgment, makes it amply clear what we have been saying for 2 decades. An invading vandal ruthlessly built a structure over the historic ancient Ram temple.

    RamLallaa Hum Ayenge.. Mandir WAHI Banayenge :emrose::emrose::emrose:

    Sigh of extremely soothing relief as truth did prevail after nearly 5 centuries of struggle & sacrifices! :)

    That would not be good politics. For people to be riled up we need stupid issues like these and for politicians to take advantage of it we need population to care about such stupid issues. Seems like we got plenty in India.

    What makes you think those who are going to build a Bhavya Mandir (Grand Temple) are not already in the process of building a grand nation? :)

    It's like your ancestral home's very important part was encroached by a ruthless foreign invader. Removing that illegal encroachment was a matter of pride, faith, legality and most importantly the right thing to do. This is a small but significant step in that direction. September 30, 2010 should be framed in the history of India as an incredible Saffron day, when a pillar of democracy, a court, shut the mouths of anyone who doubted Bhagawan Shri Ram & his birthplace!

    Whether the encroachment is removed or not, India's other problems & development focus is absolutely necessary. But building a grand India along with removal of a blot makes it doubly sweet:)

    Is the temple issue stalling the progress? Sensex in 1992 was 1600. Now it is somewhere around 20000. There were no billionaires then. Now there are 10+. Let's not attribute our incompetence on the the temple issue. The reason we are not a good nation is because we are not yet capable to be a good nation.

    Why build a Temple, when thousands are not going to be happy about it? Why not just convert the place to a Park Or a University (state owned)?
