Hi Does any one have an idea about the flats being built at South City Kolkata? I came accross this site http://southcityprojects.com/sc.htm and was wondering if any one has any info on this? I am looking at this not from investment point of view.
Thanks

That depends on what exactly you want to know regarding the flats. There are 4 buildings + clubhouse + mall + a school. The prices of the flats depend on which floor you book. They are supposed to be completing Tower 1 & 2 by the end of this year. Not sure if there are any vacancies in those at the moment.

This seems to be an interetsing way of sellingin the sense that they have an auction.

What do you guys think of the project??

That's great!!

This is the launch of a nw project called Upohar. It has 11 towers, and will be launched early July. As far as I know, most of the flats are available and are up for auction. This project is located around 2km from Peerless Hospital on EM Bypass road. Launch price is 2,900-3,000. Would appreciate if you can throw any colour on the area, and what you think of the price.

Thanks

For those already R2I in Kolkata I have a few questions.

1. Have the R.E prices cooled off ?
2. Which future or already built project do you recommend ?
3. Is the pollution worse than 10 years ago?

BTW, i have not been to Kolkata for almost 10 years now & have never been to Rajarhat or South Kolkata.

There seems to be a real problem with that project. It’s alleged that the project is not following many environment rules and also not adhering to the original plan. Apprt hand overs are expected to be delayed. I hope all the problems will be taken care of nicely by bribing concerned officials.
