Interantional seems light and should be increased.

You mentioned that IRA is for long term even if you R2I. Make yourself aware of any potential tax ramifications from GOI and IRS based on your immigration and residency status.

Desi,

Thanks for taking a look. I have been researching/reading ? I have few questions, pls see if you can answer

- Should i keep putting more in " FIDELITY DIVERSIFIED INTENATIONAL(FDIVX) " fund or choose any other fund like Vanguards 1) VEIEX, VTRIX(Int value) , VWIGX, VHGEX ?

- Also i am thinking of increasing in large caps : Should i go for value or just blend like VFINX. I already have large % in VTSMX only (even taxable portion too)

- Current 401k is investing in (VWELX) should we go for Target retirment 2040 instead ...Any feedback on these target funds which keep bonds:stk in balance going forward ?

- We are betting on using IRA for children education also (in case needed) . Don't want to tie-up with one state prgrm like in case of 529 plan. Thats the reason we want to keep it for retirement. This is only boat to sail-in for old days

Once gain Thanks in advance for your time .

I prefer one that is across the spectrum such as VGTSX, unless one has a specific reason to overweight something. Then for overweight the additional funds can be added.

I personally prefer to overweight value by some small amount as long as the investment horizon is 10 to 15 years or longer.

I am not a big fan of target retirement funds. I prefer to readjust my AAP myself. AAP should be across the sum total of assets and not separate by account.
