Hi
I missed the Coal India IPO. Do you think it's still a good buy at the current price of Rs 350?
I also am thinking of investing in the Power Grid IPO. Is that a good buy?
Please advise.
Thanks

By comparing current market price (around 98) retail bidder is getting the price around 15 to 17 % discount, and current price can be expected after allotment also, so we can expect some gains (may not be as good as Coal India listing gains)

My thinking is along the same line. I would probably invest in powergrid for a short duration.
CIL was a bummer, due to the overscription the allotment was almost 1/3rd of the bid price...hard luck...:-(. I think its still a good buy....but need to watch on the policies of J.Ramesh
Has anyone invested in Oberoi Realty IPO? Any thoughts on the same?

According to my broker, Karvy, it will be done tomorrow. I read somwhere though that shares have been allotted at 90 with 5% discount for retail investors.

I changed the title to read FPO. It is not IPO. Power Grid has been trading on the market for long time.
FPO = Follow on Public offer.
IPO = Initial Public Offer
