There is no one size fits all.

For someone a money market fund may be good, for other it may be Ginnae Mae Bond fund and yet for another it may be foreign stock fund.

I thought of asking this in a new thread but then found this one.

I'm looking for a domestic (US) equity oriented Fidelity fund (no load). Can you suggest one or a few?

My risk tolerance is high.
Time Horizon is long ... at least 2 year to who knows (may be 20) years ...
Sector ... do not care
Large-small-mid cap etc. don't know ... can somebody explain how these differ?

Hope I could put down the all the info needed to put suggestions.

Thanks

I suppose you have a lot of useful reading to do. Please take the time and learn. You will feel better and confident. It is your money. Start with finding the articles by Vinod, Desi, RRK and then construct an AAP based on your goals, time horizin, risk tolerance, tax situation and so forth.

Good luck

Recently there was a good article on forbes called "Top Ten Fidelity Funds".

http://www.forbes.com/2007/03/26/lowell-fidelity-funds-pf-gurus-in_jl_0327soapbox_inl_slide_2.html

Another way to find good fidelity funds (or others too) is go to this page

http://personal.fidelity.com/products/funds/fundpicks/overview.shtml.cvsr?refpr=rmf7

This page give you Fund picks by Fidelity across different style and sectors.

>>Large-small-mid cap etc. don't know ... can somebody explain how these differ?

Back in the old (MSN) days .....somebody did a very good job of explaining this in a easy to understand "ROTI - SUBZI" style. Don't know who it was. But if the author is still around......or anybody remembers it.....pl do explain it again.
