I contacted Vizio's tech support to see if one of their models that I was considering buying was compatible with PAL. They just got back to me saying none of their tuners currently have PAL support.This is something to keep in mind for
those who are planning to buy a Vizio.

I believe this has been discussed earlier; PAL support is an unadvertised feature in both Vizio and Sharp TVs.
So you may not hear about this from the company tech supports when you call them.

I went to Costco today with my Iphone component cables to check this out myself. Set the video out on my phone to PAL and connected the cables to two Vizio TVs, one 47" (VT470M) and another 55" and they both played the video and audio with no problems. There was another 42" Vizio that didnt accept PAL though.

No. It doesnt support PAL. You need a converter
