long time cable user. Just looking into DISH for one of their indian packages (esp the JAYA Pack). I called customer service and they tell me I need two separate dishes one for US SD and HD programming and another for the Indian package. I have read that DISH 1000+ can receive local HD programming as well as south asian programming. Does anyone have this setup (with single DISH for both US and Indian packages)? I would rather not have two dishes if possible as I am limited where I am allowed to put them. If you happen to have two dishes, do you have two (or one) cables running all the way into the controller box (VIP 722)? If they need to run two separate cables then that will be a lengthy install process for me (one cable is already there). presale customer service couldn't provide me all the details. thanks.

Yes, if you have Super Dish, you can get both American and Indian channels. It is one dish, but it's a bit larger than a regular dish.
