would you get an apple ipad 2 ? or rather hung on with ipad 1 ?

I hate the fact that it still doesn't support flash, input ports and $30 more for hdmi out to TV.

Actually HDMI out is through an external adapter which will cost an additional $39 and will work for ipad 1 too. So ipad 2 is just slimmer, lighter version of ipad 1 with a couple of crappy cameras. If you don't care too much about the cameras then go with ipad 1.
Refurbished ipad1s are even cheaper and can be bought directly from Apple's website. All refurbished ipads have the same 1 year Apple warranty and have new battery and outer shell.

By the way, HDMI on ipad1 will work only on videos and phots and not on any other apps. Video out is at 720p and not 1080.

Just to clarify, hdmi out works for everything (all Apps) on ipad 2 (including "mirroring), but on ipad 1 it will work only for videos and photos. Here is the write up from 'Wired' magzine -

"Hardware-wise, though, everyone can use the new Apple Digital AV Adapter, the rather clunky adapter that lets the iPad 2 output a 1080p signal to ant HDMI-compatible display. If you own a fourth-gen iPod Touch, and iPhone 4 or an iPad 1, then you can use the adapter, too, although as these devices can?t output 1080p, you?re limited to a 720p signal. Neither will you be able to mirror the on-screen display like you can with the iPad 2."

Deal, in the sense, purchasing the product today! I don't think anybody offers discount for such high demand Apple products.

The reason i ask you about 3g because if you ever take your ipad back to India, it is much easier just to get a sim card and insert to your ipad to work. Or if you have iphone 4 with you use it as a hot spot to get wi fi from your phone.
