Need Recommendation for GPS device

Is there a device out there which would work as Cell phone + GPS (without a need to subscribe for GPS service)? Is it a good idea? Any recommendations?

Better to keep these two functions seperate.
You have to shell out more money for cell phone + GPS combination. say around $700 for a decent one.
For $300 - you get a better cell phone and for another $300 u get a best GPS that can be used in USA

if you really want to combine, go with Blackberry curve 8310 or 8820. You can get either of those from free - 150$s with service activation depends on from where you want to buy

You can get them on craigslist for $300, unlocked if you are lucky, and no contracts.

With 660 I noticed that it has (audio through car stereo system), how does it work? Some preset FM channel?
Here are some more parameters.

Harman Kardon sucks. Check reviews on amazon.
The best portable navigation device (PND) is from Garmin. Check out the reviews.
