Movies that you liked on Netflix streaming

I found it frustrating to search for a good movie on Netflix streaming as the library is small and I don't want to spend too much time browsing. So if you good folks have liked any movie on Netflix streaming please post it here with a line or two on genre and what you liked in the movie.

I was looking for movies from Netflix streaming collection. These days I forget why I ordered a particular DVD and if I don't remember I return the DVD without watching. My movie watching time is very limited to Fri or Sat nights so was hoping people will add the movies they liked from streaming library so

I ended up watching Nothing in Common an old Tom Hanks movie, it was an OK movie if you like Tom Hanks which I do so ended up watching the whole thing. It is about a guy and his relationship with his mom and dad after they are seperated after 36 year of marriage.

P.S: By the way I liked the old movie Spartacus (Kirk Douglas I think) is your id inspired from that or from the movie 300 ?

Streaming collection of Netflix was pretty much waste of time and money. All they had were old and boring movies. Unlike netflix strikes deal with big studios, I will not renew my subscription with them. Redbox is much better and piracy is best.

[INDENT]I think, Netflix is one of the biggest one, so must be keeping almost all the movies, reday for streaming.

I personally do not like " family line story " movies of Hollywood, as I never saw any soap on Tv either such as " As the world Turns,.. "
All I like is, Comedy and Action and Horror / Suspense.

Though,
Recently saw some family line movies like,... Proposal, Duplicity, Sex and the City, It's complicated,..... and found ok.

Truly speaking,
I am a lover of Comedy movies, when it comes to the Hollywood,
due to their Technology, Cinematography, Bulky Budget, Camera Tricks and Techniques, sometimes,...One shot of real adventerous shot with no camera tricks ( playing it for real ),.. and so forth.

Still remember,.... "It's a Mad Mad mad , the Mad World" and "Crazy BoyZ of the Games" , when I was a very little kid and strive to watch them over and over,.. !

A while ago, some Indian fellows had discussed a complete listing of Hollywood Comedy films, on a forum
and I think it's worth to take a look at. ( with my post there, as post no. 18 )

BEST HOLLYWOOD(ENGLISH) COMEDY FILMS WORTH-WATCHING !

They had a deal with Universal for their entire library I think, not sure when that is coming on board. Redbox has smaller collection too and can run out of good movies if you live in a crowded suburb. Netflix has lot of good stuff from National Geographic , Documentary and International collection but their library from big studios is still less than optimal. Anyway, the idea of the thread is to post good movies you come across in Netflix streaming.

Had watched few good eclectic movies on jaman/voodoo.

I would say its better to buy Roku or Google TV or some kind of similar box and then you can have more options like Amazon Movies and others.

Watched "Outsourced", it was ok. I am also looking for any other recommendations in their library. We mostly use Netflix for kids, there are some kids movies and Science/Engg videos in there.

Watched 'RocketSing Salesman of the year'. Loved it (i really dislike most Bollywood movies but this one was good). Quality of streaming was good too.

Watched one Marathi movie - Harishchandrachi Factory - good movie (about how Dadasaheb Phalke - made first movie in India). Witty movie, keeps entertaining the viewer from start to end.
