Pathetic behavior by Bangladesh. I guess New Pakistan is here. Enough said!

One thing I still can't fathom is that Courtney Walsh is coaching this Bangladesh team. Would ask him to show this video and tell the Bangladeshi players on how cricket should be played

I disagree with you. We need more raw emotions in cricket to come out. Gone are the days of it being a gentlemen's game. It's rivalry and totally money making machine. The more such incidents happen the more cricket gains popularity. I remember sunil gavaskar also asking his teammate to walk out when he was given lbw incorrectly. In this case atleast they were arguing over well deserved no balls. Both of them over the shoulders. I think one umpire even signalled no ball. But in any case such incidents are bound to happen when you have lot of people invested emotionally in the game. Such reactions are part and parcel of humans putting in lot of efforts. After all not everyone is cucumber Dravid. Personally such rivalries and emotions make it worthwhile to watch the game. Or else it's just boring. Only one thing as famous actress says: entertainment entertainment entertainment.

Hope you checked the espncricinfo link too (breaking of dressing room).

I like the Kiwis and Windies (folks like Pollard are an exception) because they play without their mouths.

Do you know the same result was there in the the India - Australia match in 1981 too :). Gavaskar wanted a walk off (selfish guy hadn't scored much in the series) but in the end we won due to Kapil's brilliance (going against Dr. Narotam Puri's wishes and bowling with an injury)

Not many would remember who scored what in that Pakistan V Windies match but everyone would remember Walsh's sporting gesture. These are the memories you cherish not the silly street fights (might make for some good youtube viewing though - best fights in cricket :) ).

This is kind of one of sided reporting blaming more on Sri Lankans.

First fault is that all umpires were Sri Lankans. Had there been neutral umpires both the shoulder high balls would have been accepted with a bit of murmur. Since the first ball was not called for a shoulder high delivery, the second delivery didn't qualify for a no ball. The Sri Lankan square leg umpire made a mistake by giving a no ball and then reversing it.

I think the Bangladeshi substitute came in the middle of the over with drinks for some message to be given. Sri Lankan player asked him to go back and all hell broke loose after that. Thisara Perera has been thrashed for 20+ runs in the last few overs all his life :). Was surprised to see him reacting.

If you want to see a silver lining in all this, we are saved from another India - Sri Lanka match :). Sharmaji will score 200 runs tomorrow and cement his place for ever in the side (yes, I know it's a T20. Don't underestimate Sharmaji when the ball never rises above the knee roll )

Of course he is the the "talented" captain of this team :)

ICC should have given a harsher punishment for Shakib and Nurul. This is just a slap on the wrist.

If this is the punishment for Bangladesh, then Rabada must be let off with a warning for coming in Steve Smith's way. You can't have different yardsticks. I agree Rabada is a repeated offender but this became headline because Steve Smith made it a point to announce it to the world. Typical Aussie who can't take the heat when it comes his way.

Rabada has accumulated 8 points within last 24 months. Hence the ban on for next two matches. He knew before going in the series that he is just 1 point away from ban, yet he didn't improve. He didn't come in the way. He deliberately pushed smith on the field. I have never seen such pushing n all from Aussies lately. Rabada was over aggressive against India too. Shakib got 1 point as well but he has not accumulated enough to get a ban. While I am all in favor of such drama on cricket field but ICC is not. They have very transparently laid it all out in guidelines of 2016 (I think).
