Hi,
I am a us citizen with oci and wanting to return to India for a good period. I like to travel a lot by rail/air. I am over 64 yrs and am I eligible for the discounts offered in Indians in Rail and air travel.

You can purchase tickets as ordinary residents while in India. Indian Railways offers a 30% discount for ages 60+ while some airlines offer a senior citizen discounts from age 65 onwards. Currently Jet offers a 50% discount (on base fare only) These discounts are not automatic and you'll have to apply for each.
