okonomi;651569You need to go with traditional long, multisyllabic (3 or more), Indian Names. This would stun the westerner, and cause an immediate advantage to the USC child.
Abhiraman, Bhaskaran, Chandramouli, Desikan, Easwaran, Fanibushan, Gunakethu, Hariharan, Inbadurai, Janakiraman, Krishnamoorthy, and so on ... easy peazy.
You are going to call him "Guddu" or "Munna" anyhow... right ? :wink
I agree OP. A longer, Sanskrit name is the way to go. The objective being to stun the Westerner into submission. They shall not be able to relate the names to anything in their puny vocabulary.

We named our daughter Nikita. I always liked this name and also it's short form Nikki. I was absolutely convinced about the name. I don't understand how can people ask others options for their kids names. This is your opportunity to name something you strongly feel about.
