Friends,

I am planning to R2I in next few months time and need your help in getting position in IT Infrastructure domain and I am looking for roles something similar to Technical Project Manager or Infrastructure Manager.
I've 16 years of IT expereince in the infrastructure domain and less than a year in the Management position. Worked as infrastructure architect role for major companies in US.
Since I don't have great management experience, what is my job prospect in India? I am still working as a consultant in USA and getting good pay rate and due to family reasons, I am planning to R2I.
If getting into Management role is an issue(with less management experience) , can I try for some consulting positions in Blore? I heard Infosys hires consultants and anyone has any info about this?
I am looking for 15L-18L per year and I wish this is reasonable salary for 16 years experience.
Since I don't have good contacts in India, I really appreciate R2I members to help me here

You can try in IBM - GTS if you are interested for an Infrastructure Program Manager or any other position in Project Services division. Don't settle for a project manager which will be a very low for your level of experience.
You will need to have PMP/ITIL V3 certification to get in.
