Hey whats wrong in thinking forward...

ProsCons,
There are some people who have worked/ or are working from home in India whom I know of. One of my hubs friend is working from home for his American company. He is into BD(But after his wifes nagging, they returned to US, She apparently did not want to stay close to her in laws). My excolleague was working from home as a free lancer. She had 2 employees and they used to develop software for hospitals etc. But for this you need to have a network who can help you get contracts. My own brother is working from home for indiblogger. He and few of his friends are the stakeholders of indiblogger(www.indiblogger.in). My boss's wife works from home, she is a HR consultant. So , yes, though most of these examples are of people who are doing their individual business or partnerships, working from home is not favored in software product lifecycle and BPO companies in India. Some employers temporarily give this option to female employees who cannot travel to work due to maternity constraints.
