Came across some out-of-ordinary thoughts of Subramanian Swamy today. If Islamic Terrorism has 5 goals, Swamy suggests 5 strategies, albeit pretty radical. I doubt any political party can even think of following these strategies, even his best chance BJP. Swamy's strategies are presented after detailing how India has ended up in the current mess. He warns Indians that at the current rate (predicts a 2012 take over of Pakistan by Taliban), Hindus in India are heading towards the same path as Persian, Babylonian and Egyptian civilizations.

When no one has a practical suggestion to address the menace of Jihadist terrorism, at least someone is presenting clear strategies.. Worth a read. Strategy #4 was very innovative. Never heard the Bangladesh land annexing proposal, however impractical it may be, before :idea:

Welcome non-Hindus to re-convert to the caste of their choice provided they adhere to the code of discipline. Annex land from Bangladesh in proportion to the illegal migrants from that country staying in India. At present, northern one-third from Sylhet to Khulna can be annexed to re-settle the illegal migrants.

Goal 5: Denigrate Hinduism through vulgar writings and preaching in mosques, madrassas, and churches to create loss of self-respect amongst Hindus and make them fit for capitulation.

Strategy: Propagate the development of a Hindu mindset (see my new book Hindutva and National Renaissance, Haranand, 2010).

Goal 1 strategy was followed by English in North Ireland. After a bloddy struggle, it has succeeded finally. I would recommend it.

I think he forgot "ban koran" and Bombing of Muslim neighborhoods. Rabid anti Islamic stuff of chaddi walas is what he is proposing. Clearly, he wants to annex Bangladesh, Pakistan and create a religion based Hindu rashtra. Such bigots are a bane for India.

The non-Hindus can pick any caste to re-convert to? Even the highest? Will they then be made in-charge of temples?

Can existing Hindus also choose to change their caste since caste will be declared to be not birth-based? If that is not allowed, can they convert to other religion temporarily and then convert back to Hinduism and a caste of their choice? Like hopping across the U.S. border to a consulate in Mexico?

Or, will the offer to re-convert to any caste of their choice be like DISH Network's "Free installation in 4 rooms" promotions - available only to new customers?

#58, I think the strategies proposed are nonsense and born out of religious hatred towards the muslims - the same kind that he accuses the muslims to harbor. Basically he is saying let us become the Hindu equivalents of Taliban/Pakistan or other religious hardliners. Next thing we know we will be blowing up our own people as is now being seen in Pakistan.

There MAY be some merit in abolishing article 370; apart from that suggestion rest of the article is nonsense, imo.

Why is it a far fetched thought ?

Since we are cowards, we will hide behind the rhetoric of peace and brotherhood and keep ceding territory to jihadis.

Since pakistan, bangladesh, POK are not enough, we will keep handing over territories in the name of democracy every time they encroach, multiply, ethnically cleanse hindus and then demand the territory for themselves. Secession by encroachment.

We will be blind to the fact that hindus have been decimated in Pakistan and bangladesh and driven out of kashmir. We shall not identify the same patterns of mass conversion, uprising, encroachment that happen elsewhere in the name of secularism.

We shall stay obsessed with the 8000 cases of sati reported couple of centuries ago and think our religion inferior due to that.

We will be oblivious to the decimation of natives in australia, us, south america or slave trade and think of the west as being tolerant and superior and ourselves as being barbaric (inline with the colonizers perspective).
