What's Globalization?

25 years back, 1 Idli was 50 Paise and 1 STD call was Rs.15.
Today, 1 STD call is 50 Paise & 1 Idli is Rs.15 !

Well said, this is the real effect of globalization. In the name of globalization you need to pay Rs. 80 per kilo of Onion and Rs. 120 per kilo of Tomato. Is this what we can expect from globalization? Increasing the cost of living?

No, the price of onions is unusually high due to unseasonal rains and thus a very poor harvest.

Increasing cost of living used to happen even 500 years back, it is called inflation.

Yes, Kalyug is coming and mass destruction is coming.
But Good news is here for few, just a chosen few.

Commander 007 Baba can perform mandali yugeshwaranath rudrabhishekham in your name whereby all the evil effects of kalyug can be washed off for 1000$!!!

But wait!! If you send the money in the next 1 hour, Commander Baba will double the offer to perform the abhishekham for two!!!
Hurry up and this offer is expiring soon.

LOL. What did the traders do? For every trader that bets on the right side there is one on the wrong side in commodities trading. When one trader wins another one loses. There is only so much onion and everyone wants it, who do they sell it to, to the one giving 10Rs/Kg or 80Rs/Kg. What do you think is the solution ?

If the supply doesn't increase, people will eventually adapt and forget about onions and that will push the price down. Happens all the time, didn't we buy Sona Masoori at $50.00/10lb or some such price some time back :). People were buying rice from Costco.

And in that paper trading, the general population suffers.

How? It is a myth that traders jack up the price, markets help in price discovery based on supply and demand.
