That an interesting article. However, while reading articles such as these, people should keep in perspective that the known suspects for causing Leukemia amongst adults are over exposure to petrochemical products (including Benzene), ionizing radiation or electromagnetic radiations. So, in this case of henna, you would really have to be using it on a daily basis for a significant period of your life, IMHO, for benzene to increase one's chance to get this deadly disease. Also, how do you justify Leukemia to be the leading cancer amongst children - there is no known reason (or suspects) for that.

Finally, I wish Telegraph would do a better job of doing a spell check (specially in this modern age of technology) when spelling Leukemia :-)

This is observational study with very little scientific value. Like pdixit said, nobody uses mehendi everyday. Its used maybe 2-3 times a year.
