Read this on my droid app and was amazed...Thought to share this with you all....

Extraordinary co-incidences between the lives of John f. Kennedy and Abe Lincoln
* Abraham Lincoln was elected to congress in 1846. John f. Kennedy was elected to congress in 1946
* Abraham was elected president in 1860. Kennedy was elected president in 1960.

* Lincolns secretary name was Kennedy. Kennedy's secretary name was Lincoln.

* Both presidents were shot in the head. Southerners assassinated both. Southerners succeeded both.

*John wilkes booth who assassinated Lincoln was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald who allegedly assassinated Kennedy was born in 1939.

* Lincoln was shot at the theater named Kennedy. Kennedy was shot while traveling in a Lincoln car.

* Both assassins were know by their three names. both names comprised 15 letters.

* Booth ran from the theater n was caught in a warehouse. oswald ran from a warehouse n was caught in a theater. Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

*Both successors were named Johnson. Andrew Johnson succeeded Lincoln was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson succeeded Kennedy was born in1908.

*The names Lincoln and Kennedy each contain 7 letters. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost their children while living in the white house..

I thought that Lincoln was shot in Ford Theater.

Just a Disclaimer: I have no idea how much of the posted content is true as I haven't checked it myself with the history manuals. So, don't quote me on the authenticity of the content. If the info indeed is true, then I am simply AMAZED with the coincidences.

I think Boca meant that Rabtag, Desi and Boca have too much time on their hands to be wasting on correcting meaningless small coincidences and supposed coincidences. Heck, it is a friday, I need to go and do some sudoku.

This is such an old subject - it has been circulating in the internet ever since the days I came to US - about 15-20 years ago. Why is it still so popular to forward (or post) these kind of articles again and again?
