I divide this into 3 categories..

1. Location appropriate attire: Like in beaches etc, no one assumes to cover the entire body and i carry my black goggles..:)

2. Young and unmarried: Eager for attention and also for that prospective boy friend or fun overnight.. Perfect time for them with out any baggage.

3. Married with kids: This is the crowd that i don't understand. These folks are already out of shape and try to wear dresses that reveals too much which is disgusting to watch. This is in desi gatherings..

Any reasoning behind or is it ok to reveal? Do married Women like attention from other married men?

What's up with the topics these days about women and their clothes or lack of it?!?
Looks like its summer time on the forum and people are trying to spice up the forum knowing fully well that mn_op sahib is very much in the same timezone now!

Don't quite agree with this. I've seen and still see and know a lot of my lady friends who are married with kids and still in good shape! The new generation ladies are quite health conscious and are as fit and trim as they can be.
What's disgusting is those flabby bellied, saggy breasted Indian men who stuff their face with tortilla chips in those parties ogling mercilessly at those chics like they are some kinda fried paneer bhajjis!

Why not? Its a win-win situation. You reveal, we'll compliment! You like to hear those words and we like to see those curves!

Even if you have a great body, do you have to reveal?

The same women doesn't even like their husbands to appreciate other Women.. When they don't want their husbands to ogle/compliment other women, why do they reveal theirs for compliment?

Will be nice to hear Women perspective on this...

Everybody’s honest duty towards themselves is to feel good, ( look good ) get honored by others,
Make other people to give them more importance and to make them,look at them with interest, curiosity, attraction, Make other people to stay bound and eager to make them starving to talk and building friendship relations with them.
and thus lift and elevate their own mood, mental feelings, and all this falls in one simple word “ happiness” .

And, that’s what they all do.

The only sorry part here is, being a woman , they have no clue that male’s sexual instincts always remains stronger, short-tempered, highly flammable and many sexo/phycho/gyneco ‘Logists’ even agree that it takes less time for a male to get excited and inspired ( turn ON ) .

Hence, knowingly or un-knowingly, they fan the flame and in this process of fueling the fire, they even do not know what they so did major wrong, by exposing a little, legs, thighs, cleavage, wearing transparent lingerie, intentional tight dresses… etc

And, hence due to this littlek now-how of the knowledge, they all of a sudden come out on the street,… “ Hey what we did wrong,.. We have our rights to dress and wear,. It’s your problem,… da da da !"

A ‘Sheth’ sitting on ‘Gallah’, in open market and counting the cash in mid of 1000s , chances are naturally a lot, that he is inviting for robbery and burglary !

Keeping in mind all such, we had sober dress style in any religion – say Punjabi , Mosleum, Hindu with full size dresses until this western wind blew here,

IMo, girls/ladies b elittle understanding on this, and restrict themselves on skin-showing and such and later these kind aa Slut-walks,... !! Seems unreasonable to me.

Still reminds me of a funny dialect by Ameetji to Zeennie in movie “ Dostaana !

( If Loafres will not whistle on these, Ya waanna Temples to religiously bell on this ? - Why miser on buying a little more lingerie ? )

The women don't mind if husbands know how to appreciate other women without going overboard. Lucky husbands have wives who join them in bemoaning the fact that life outside India means no visions of Madhya Pradesh to sooth the aching male eyes.

IMO, women don't dress for men alone. And so revealing is not just to make them look more attractive to men. Any man wants to be more masculine in appearance or behavior. It could be showing off the biceps by wearing short sleeves, having a thick moustache or earning the bread for the family. This is implanted by the nature. Similarly, women want to look feminine. So obviously it's natural to reveal more of the female parts. It adds beauty or more femininity (whatever you want to call it). It's not for men to dictate what type of women could reveal. It?s their body, they reveal. Live and let live.
