I might be visiting USA frequently on business purposes and want to maintain my drivers license for good. What do I do? Please help. I do not know if this is the right thread for this question but this is one of the best I could find.

For now, you don't have to do anything. Hoping that your license is valid for at least 12 months more, just move. Once you settle down in India, you can give a change of address using DMV address/website. DMV and IRS are two areas where you can easily give out of country address.

Thanks. I will be providing a mailing address of a friend in USA at USPS. Can my DMV address be different from this address. I also believe that Jury Duty mail is sent to DMV address. So, will there be a problem if I do not change my Driver's License address for a while?

Move2India - Driver's License in USA comes under State jurisdiction so you need to check the rules of your state. The rules can vary significantly between different states. I know for sure that in some states it is unlawful to have the wrong address on your DL - it must always be the address where you are physically residing (not a "mailing" address or the address of a friend or relative). Also, several states do not allow out-of-country addresses on the DL. If you are from one such state then you have no option other than to cancel or forfeit the license.
I don't think thats a big deal because you can always carry an International DL when you visit the US and use that for renting/driving cars.

Has anyone successfully updated their address to Indian address with Massachusetts RMV? I went there yesterday, and the lady told they don't support international address. I am hoping she was wrong, and I can just mail the address change form to RMV hoping it will reach good hands. Please share your experiences.

I did - you can fill out the change of address form and mail it to DMV. If you give local address, you may be called for a jury duty if you are USC.
