I am happy that I hit goldmine with Investments purely based on Luck/Timing but not happy with my health due to tiredness & other issues. As Health is more important than Wealth, my happiness quotient at present doesn't looks good.

I cannot wait to let all of you how much happy I am today again..
I got my Huge house rented for 2 yrs.. I dont need to think of adverse steps... Yooooo hooooooo
I got rented through property management services that covers my complete mortagage and HOA.
This is a big win for me in a decade as I really did not want to loose the house yet R2i.
This gave me immense confidence that ---- if it can happen to me it can happen to anyone...
Now 4months away for R2i- I am down to two more goals to achieve..
I can R2i as a winner not a looser...

Today I heard for the first time about Trivikrama Mahadeva and his son in 20s, Praveen Kumar.

Are these folks humans or God in the form of humans? Some claims put the number of bodies they have cremated in dignified way to over 40000. Some even stretch to 70000+. Whatever the number may be, I was bowled out just imagining their compassion & dedication to the interest of giving a dignified end to a human body. Kudos to father & son duo! :thup: I was very happy to read through their efforts. What started as a shocking situation when Mahadeva's mother died in 1960s, has provided dignity to thousands of unclaimed bodies in BengaLuru.

The other day I saw a similar report of an auto driver who feeds the hungry, homeless people, cooks food and literally feeds the homeless and abandoned people with his own hands . (mostly homeless beggars). Contrast with the despicable situation where millions of tons of food grains are rotting in open farms /places in punjab and elsewhere in the country as there are not enough places to store and the PDS system is a joke- feeding on it are corrupt beauraucrats/buissness men/politicos.
Shows where there is a will (to serve/help), these guys/girls donot allow barriers like themselves being impoverished to come in the way of serving.
The above person and trivikrama's of this world donot exist when it comes to atleast acknowledging by the govt., of the yeoman service they are doing(something the govts' should be ashamed of abjuring). How many of us donot know how awards are doled out to high and mighty for their connections/simply in exchange of hard cash- padma awards etc. Saif is deserving of a padma, not a trivikrama of this world(Not that it makes any difference to trivikrama who is doing it because he sincerely belives in what he does , but atleast other people might be inspired to do their own small things selflessly.)

I know how that feels. On Wed or Thu, RRS, Boca and Cyberabadi thanked my posts in a span of 10 minutes. Then, next day Sandeepskar mentioned me in a post in Shoutbox thread along with mn_op and Desi. I felt "my chai cup overfloweth" : )

Pak pilot's Bollywood song irks passengers

ISLAMABAD: The pilot of a Pakistan International Airlines flight annoyed passengers by singing a Bollywood song to call an airhostess to bring his meal to the cockpit.

The pilot was unaware that his "message" to the airhostess could be heard all over the aircraft, thanks to an open mike. The incident occurred on a flight from Islamabad to Karachi last night. "Aa bhi jao sanam, tujh ko meri kasam", the pilot sang n an airhostess rushed to the cockpit with a food tray.

The faux pas happened because the pilot was unaware that the mike had not been switched off by the cabin crew after an earlier announcement. The passengers found the pilot's behaviour "uncivilised and uncultured" and demanded an apology, a TV news channel reported. Following the protests by passengers, the pilot apologized — first in English and then in Urdu.

Kochi is acquiring an IPL team from 2011!

I am happy as I have come into contact with some of my friends from High School/Middle School on a social networking site. It feels good to exchange statuses after so many years. One of the friends even apologized for something that happened couple of decades ago. I forgot it long back but looks like she carried the burden of it all this time:-)
