Need help with High schools in Tampa Bay

After six years of R2I in India, we are planning to move to Tampa. (I'll post my R2I experience soon). I need help from anyone living in Tampa (preferably with kids in High school) to guide me through the process of selecting a High School for my older kid who is going to be in 9th grade this year.

I'm working from home right now, but plan to switch companies later. So I prefer a location that is not too far from where the jobs are. DH is starting out as a consultant (PM) and he'll be shifting base to Tampa soon.

Please help me with info on good high schools along with the apartments near by.
