How to Kill Time in Seattle?

Friends, I will be R2I'ing next month. However, I need to go to Seattle for a couple of weeks later this this month for onboarding. I never been to Seattle before and my family is already in India. So, I am not sure visitng regular tourist attractions alone would be interesting . Any suggestions to kill time on the evenings and Weekends?

It really depends on what you like to do... Seattle area is very beautiful and scenic and it is at its best in Summer (which is only a few weeks :-)). So you can do loads of outdoor activities... hiking, bike riding, general sight-seeing, etc. Also, if you have GC/USC, Vancouver BC is only 3 hrs up north and a lot of people go for day trips.
If you are into desi cultural activities you will find lot of events on weekends.
If you are into cricket, there is a big time tennis ball cricket league with 6 divisions. There is also a proper season ball league with 2 divisions but they will be into knock-out round next month (so you can watch but cannot join a team to play). We also have a girls' tennis ball league. (Some people prefer to watch just that.)
We have our own share of desi restaurants, pubs with desi dance music, desi movies playing, etc. but I wouldn't dare say they would match what you are used to in volume/quantity coming from the Bay Area.

1. Space Needle, Pacific Science Center - Downtown Seattle
2. SAM - Seattle Art Museum - Downtown Seattle
3. Snoqualmie Falls - 20 Min drive from Seattle/Redmond
4. Take a Water Taxi ($3) from Pier 55 in Downtown to Alki Beach, Scenic View of Downtown Seattle.
5. Mt.Rainier and Mt. Helens Volcano - 1 Day Each (120Miles Rainier, 180 St.Helens)
6. Deception Pass, Whitby Island - 1/2 Day - 80Miles from Seattle
7. Diablo Lake, North Cascades - 1 day (120 Miles one-way)
8. Lake Chelan - 1 day
9. Victoria & Vancover, Canada - Few Days
** With or without family these are great places to visit **

#6 Not a bad idea. But as someone said in top posters thread, if you need stuff but not fluff, it would be harder :)

#2 I hope it doesn't rain. I hate rain or snow. Till now I paid a significant portion of my salary as premium by way of mortgage for good weather in Silicon valley.
