Hello
We are planning a cruise to alaska region. It will be a 6-9 nights one. Question is, what is the best month to visit alaska? I heard alaska gets some rain during may/june. Is this true? Please share your experience.
Thanks
Dragon

Jaggu-Dada, Check with the folks at Krisbi Travels http://www.krisbitravel.com/offices.aspI've had some good experience with these guys in the past 4-5 years. They've managed to get me confirmed ticket at least a couple of times with a two day notice at peak travel time - like 2nd and 3rd week of December after I had got my friends to chase at least 20 travel agents spread across America. Note: It helps big time if you've had experience Bargaining in Beirut. ========================================Imagine if one could Bargain in Beirut. -DJ

I've had some good experience with Mascot Travels too. MASCOT TRAVEL SERVICES1904 RUHLAND AVE.,REDONDO BEACH,CA 90278TEL NO 310 372 3200 ([email protected]) Talk to Kalyani (very stern but helpful lady - somebody one could trust. I remember she suggested me to wait on a couple occasions instead of cashing in) @ 310-216-1239.============================================It's never too easy to trust a commission agent. -DJ

Hi All,
We were toying with an idea of going to Kerala on a vacation for a week during 1st/2nd week of May. Any idea about the weather? We plan to go to Munnar, Alleppy, Kumarkom, Thekkady. We for sure know that Munnar will be nice. But were wondering about the other places. Has anyone been there during this time of the year? Any inputs on this is highly appreciated.
Thanks

2 Preferably visit the backwaters in winter, its too hot in summer. You need to book well in advance. 1 week will be too short to enjoy all the 4 places. Would suggest a 1 week getaway max 2 places.

Jaggudada, try Tri-Taylor travel. I recently purchased tickets through them and the service was good. Talk to Anwar 630-462-9928 and he might beat competitor's prices.
